
PODGORICA (Montenegro), December 16 (SeeNews) – Household electricity consumption in Montenegro rose 11.3% year-on-year to 103.3 million kWh in November, the country's power utility Elektroprivreda Crne Gore (EPCG) said.
On a monthly comparison basis, household electricity consumption in Montenegro grew by 7.5% in November, EPCG said in a statement on Tuesday.
The average monthly household electricity bill in Montenegro was 31.43 euro ($38.36) in November.
The highest average monthly electricity bill, of 40.24 euro, was paid by households in Podgorica, while the lowest one, of 16.43 euro, was registered in the town of Zabljak.
The Montenegrin government owns 88.7% of EPCG, followed by the company itself with 10%. The remainder belongs to smaller shareholders.
