While Nick Cannon proclaimed that he would ‘never be in a relationship again,’ there seems to be an exception to that rule! Even though he did not believe in marriage in the first place, he married Mariah Carey back in 2008 and, as it turns out, he would do it all over again!
That’s right! The Masked Singer host would start anew with Mariah and even put another ring on it, at any time!
After all, she is still his ‘dream girl!’
While on T.I.’s podcast ExpediTIously, Cannon explained how monogamy is not for him before going on to reveal that he would actually settle with someone – his ex-wife!
The exes failed to make it work the first time around, however, since they divorced in 2014.
‘I think I will never be able to be with only one woman again. I did it in marriage, I was faithful in my marriage. The reason why we split had nothing to do with infidelity. Once I stepped away from that, I [realized] that construct isn’t designed for me. I gave it my all. Because even before that, I was like, ‘I do not believe in marriage.’’
He went on to gush over her, saying that: ‘But, s**t, it was Mariah Carey. Whatever she say, I am with it. If she wanted to say we was going to the moon, I am like, ‘Let’s go.’ If I’mma marry somebody, I’mma marry her.’
But of course, she has moved on long ago so since that is not possible, Nick made it very clear that he will never get married again.

According to him, he just doesn’t ‘want to have to answer’ to anyone and wishes to ‘be by [himself]…forever.’
