After nearly six years of marriage, Sara Gilbert is separating from her wife Linda Perry.
Gilbert filed paperwork in Los Angeles on Friday for a legal separation with minor children, according to TMZ.
She listed the date of separation to be August 13, requesting no child support for herself or Perry.

Gilbert, 44, stepped down just days before that date from the CBS talk show The Talk (which she created) to spend more time with family.
She announced back in April that she would be stepping down at the end of the season.
After nearly nine years on the daytime show, she also began taking on more work on the Roseanne spin-off The Conners.
Gilbert told USA Today: 'It was the right move at this time in my life, with The Talk, The Conners, the production company I launched with (Conners executive producer Tom Werner) and having three kids. There just wasn't enough time.

'I enjoy feeling stretched, but I never want my work or my family to suffer, so then I think where you suffer is with yourself. Now, I have more time with my kids, more time being creative. I'm exercising again. I'm developing projects.'
Gilbert recorded her farewell episode in August at the end of the season, where she was honored with a surprise appearance from Perry and daughter Sawyer Gilbert-Adler.
Perry, 54, said of her wife: 'This is a true very inspiring human being here that is always trying to advance herself and everybody else around her.'
