ITHACA, N.Y. - The Ithaca College men's lacrosse team carried a 10-9 lead into the decisive fourth quarter, but they were held scoreless during the final 15 minutes by St. Lawrence who picked up the 14-10 win on Saturday. The St. Lawrence victory snapped an IC seven game winning streak as the Bombers dropped to 8-2 overall and 1-1 within the Liberty League.

- St. Lawrence (6-2, 1-1 Liberty League) were dominant in faceoffs as they held the 25-3 edge over the Bombers as they won every attempt within the fourth quarter.
- The teams opened the game by trading goals before each goalkeeper was able to settle into the game. Ryan LaForty finished with nine saves compared to his counterpart William Helm who finished with 14, which included a several nice stops in the second half to cease IC momentum.
- Sophomore John Sramac led all scorers for Ithaca with four goals on seven shot attempts. He leads the Bombers this season with 29 goals, which is second in the Liberty League.
- Judge Murphy and Jack Hennessey combined to score eight goals for the Saints as Josh Huiatt also netted a hat trick for the visitors.
- It was a back-and-forth battle from the beginning faceoff with the teams trading goals. The Bombers had to equalize both times, but a John Sramac effort into the back of the net on a Jake Erickson feed made it 2-2. The Saints built momentum and scored four-straight goals to force an IC timeout.
- Coming out of the break, Ithaca ran its offense and answered with a Connor Brumfield goal followed by a John Sramac goal that was scored with 19 seconds left in the period that made it 6-4. Both goalies had a better second quarter as they were sharper between the pipes especially Ryan LaForty who gave up just two goals in the second.
- IC was able to make a comeback to go into halftime with the score tied at eight goals apiece with the final effort scored when Blake Eischen fed a cutting Kyle Proctor who fired it into the back of the net.
- Jake Erickson and Blake Eischen both recorded unassisted goals to open the third quarter and gave the Bombers their first lead of the game, making it 10-8.
- The Saints had an answer of their own as they scored the final six goals to come away with the win. IC had its chances but had a couple shots hit the crossbar as well as William Helm made several clutch saves down the stretch.
