Hilario Nets First Career Goal and Maynor Tallies First Career Helper

GETTYSBURG, Pa. – Host Gettysburg scored three times in the first half on its way to a 3-1 win over visiting Washington College at Clark Field in Centennial Conference women's soccer action on Saturday afternoon.  The Bullets improve to 9-2-1 overall and 4-2-1 in the Centennial, while the Shorewomen drop to at 5-6-2 and 1-4-2 respectively.

How It Happened
- Lauren Maynor nearly put the Shorewomen ahead in the 22nd minute, but her shot targeted for the upper left corner was tipped over the goal by Gettysburg goalkeeper Maddie Cunningham
- Just over three minutes later, Erica Maskus put the Bullets ahead as she scored from the right side of the box as her shot went in near side with Grace Slevin picking up the assist at the 24:39 mark.
- Dani Bloching made it 2-0 as her shot from nearly 30 yards out went through a sea of players and found the lower right side of the goal with Molly O'Shea recording the helper at 35:03.
- Gettysburg would push the lead to 3-0 just 4:51 later as Jalia Musah dribbled down the left side and placed her shot off the crossbar and dropped into the goal off of a feed from Ashley Carbonier to conclude the first half scoring.
- Washington would get on the board 4:44 into the second half as the cross from Maynor found Elena Hilario cutting down the left side and Hilario notched her first career goal into the upper left corner.  Maynor recorded her first career assist on the score.
- The Shorewomen would register two more shots the rest of the way to try to close the deficit, but both were turned away by Cunningham with the last attempt coming from Keelie Verbeek with 19:20 to go.

For The Shorewomen (5-6-2, 1-4-2 CC)
- Scorers: Hilario (goal), Maynor (assist)
- Goalkeepers: Noah Smith (4 saves, 3 goals allowed, 90:00)
- Totaled 10 shots and five corner kicks for the match. 

For Gettysburg (9-2-1, 4-2-1 CC)
- Scorers: Bloching (goal), Maskus (goal), Musah (goal), Carbonier (assist), O'Shea (assist), Slevin (assist)
- Goalkeeper: Cunningham (5 saves, 1 goal allowed, 90:00)
- Took nine shots and notched a single corner in the contest.
