How can Middleton build on Sunday's success?
Eric Nehm, Bucks beat writer: Middleton struggled to find much of a groove in the first two games of the series as the Bucks leaned more heavily on Jrue Holiday as the primary pick-and-roll partner with Antetokounmpo.
But in the fourth quarter, he just took over the game and, as Antetokounmpo recounted after the game, demanded the ball even when he was covered. Middleton was more assertive and that will be what he needs to do if he wants to keep this going the rest of the series. The Hawks do not have a good matchup for him and if he wants to take over, he should be able to find open shots.
Where can the Bucks improve in Game 4?
Nehm: The Bucks were relatively sloppy defensively. Throughout the game, they did a nice job scrambling to pick up the Hawks in transition, but then tried to get to the matchups they wanted instead of just taking the man in front of them and gave up open 3s.
Their switching in half-court settings was not particularly crisp. The Bucks can be a lot better defensively in Game 4 and clean up any number of the mistakes they made throughout Game 3 to give themselves an easier path to victory on Tuesday.
Any concern for Young?
Chris Kirschner, Hawks beat writer: Yes, there should be concern over Young's ankle. He clearly was not himself after returning to the game. The Hawks only scored nine points in almost nine minutes after Young returned to the game.
The key to understanding how Young wasn't at full strength was how the Hawks were mostly not running their offense through him and instead were using him in an off-ball role. We'll have to wait to see how Young's ankle responds to treatment in the next day. If he's not 100 percent, the Hawks are in trouble.
