PODGORICA (Montenegro), October 12 (SeeNews) – Household electricity consumption in Montenegro declined 4% year-on-year to 88.62 million kWh in September, according to figures posted on the website of the country's power utility Elektroprivreda Crne Gore (EPCG).
On a monthly comparison basis, household electricity consumption in Montenegro fell by 8.9% in September, figures showed.
The average monthly household electricity bill in Montenegro was 27.30 euro ($34.20) in September.
The highest average monthly electricity bill, of 32.57 euro, was paid by households in Podgorica, while the lowest one, of 18.36 euro, was registered in the town of Zabljak.
The Montenegrin government owns 88.7% of EPCG, followed by the company itself with 10%. The remainder belongs to smaller shareholders.
